Verse of the Day
One verse, a short reflection and a prayer — the same verse for everyone today.
He shall feed His flock
“He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.”
Today's insight
God approaches you with the deliberate care of a shepherd who knows exactly what you need. He does not merely watch from a distance, but uses "his arm" to gather those who are small or struggling and carries them close to his heart. Whether you need to be fed, carried, or "gently" led, he adjusts his pace to match your strength.
Reflect
In what area of your life do you feel like a "lamb" today, needing to be carried in his bosom rather than walking on your own?
Prayer
Lord, thank you for the promise that you will feed me and gather me into your protective arms. When I am tired or overwhelmed, help me to rest in your bosom and trust that you are leading me gently. Amen.
